The German Whistleblower Protection Act (HinSchG) passed the final hurdle in the Bundesrat on 12 May 2023 and is expected to come into force at the beginning of July 2023. Companies based in Germany, employing 250 or more people are now obliged to transpose the requirements of the HinSchG within one month. For companies with 50 to 249 employees, an extended transposition period until 17 December 2023 applies.

Antje Meyer is a Director in the Forensic & Integrity Services Team in Duesseldorf, Germany with more than 11 years of experience in advising clients from the private and public sector in compliance, ethics and integrity management as well as fraud detection and response. She gained major experience in the design, implementation and review of compliance and ethics frameworks as well as specific elements of compliance management for large-scale European, global Fortune100 companies and family-owned businesses. Her focus lies on the design and implementation of whistleblower frameworks and case management systems and she is leading the whistleblowing service offerings for EY Germany. In her role as an authorized CFE trainer (ACFE, U.S.) for Germany and Austria she prepares CFE candidates for the exam. Since 2022 she is in the board of the ACFE German Chapter e.V.

Compliance COCKPIT Management – Business Development | EQS Group
Jens Gräßler is responsible for business development in the management team of Compliance COCKPIT, EQS Group’s solution portfolio for corporate compliance. He has held various positions in the field of compliance for more than 14 years and also has many years of experience in management and sales positions in several international companies. Within EQS Group he is, among other things, the central contact person around the implementation of the EU Whistleblowing Directive and EQS Group’s solution offerings.
